Join us to help corner stores in Mattapan offer healthier options, including better quality fruits and vegetables at a reasonable price. The Strategic Alliance for Healthy Corner Store Initiative is working with community members and organizations to increase community access to healthy affordable food through community corner stores.
We now have four corner stores that offer healthy options:
Mama’s Market, 1178 Blue Hill Avenue (on the corner of Blue Hill Avenue and Morton Street)
A Work In Progress, 530 River Street (across from the Church of the Holy Spirit)
World’s Best Food Market, 645 River Street
and Mattapan Square Mobil, 1556 Blue Hill Avenue (on the corner of Blue Hill Avenue and Babson Street)
